Swearing : The Prologue

I swore to myself I would not do this.

I have a major exam tomorrow.

I major project due today.

My car is sitting at the impound lot, collecting fees.

Naturally this all happens today on what is emotionally one of my toughest days.

Today is undoubtedly going to be a very difficult day…

Pittsburgh your constant construction everywhere, obnoxious parking rules, never ending rain, cultural homogeny, sport obsession, religious dependency and inflated ego all drive me nuts. Not in a lovable, I love my spot way, no, in a consistently grating and annoying way.

Sorry if I offended any of you with the unpopular opinion. I just feel very out of place here.

Addiction isn’t an injury

it isn’t a wound

it’s closer to madness

An extra skull wrapped around your head

another body slathered on top of your skin

There you are heart thumping panic, right where I left you.

No sleep occurred tonight.

4 years, I’ll do it in 3.

To not know if “you” is “me or if “you” is “them”

I still miss you…
